The Full Monte Carlo Experience
Some very useful tourist information for those lucky enough to be travelling to Monte Carlo.
- Official language: French.
- Currency: Euro (€1 = $1.40 approx).
- Banks: Most banks have an exchange counter (open from 10am - 7pm; Mondays to Saturdays) and automatic cash dispensers (ATMs). Some hotels will also exchange money (at rates generally higher than banks).
- International dialling codes: The international dialling code for Monaco is +377
- Visas: Visa requirements for Monaco are the same as those for France. Citizens from outside of Europe should consult a travel agent before departing.
- Time: Monaco (and France) is in the Central European Time zone (GMT + 1 hour). All tournament times are in local time.
