Whilst players can qualify through convenient online play for our Championship Final in Prague, live tournaments in universities across Europe remain a popular and enduring fixture of the VC Student Poker Championships.

Giving players the chance to step away from their computer monitor and test their poker skills in the traditional live tournament environment, each event offers a guaranteed $500 prize pool for the top finishers and most importantly - a seat in an exclusive 30 player tournament where our live event winners take to the online baize alongside our top Brand Managers to compete for a $5,000 prize pool and 5 coveted seats to our Championship Finale in Prague. There awaits student poker's largest prize pool ($25,000) and ultimate bragging rights as the top student player in Europe.

Hugely popular and much sought after, live events are awarded to those universities with the most players active on vcpoker.com as the school year progresses, as tracked through new Brand Manager signups. If your university is not one of the first chosen, don't despair. The school year is long (some say too long!) with ample time to get your university poker passionate enough to secure your very own Student Championship Qualifier.
