VC POKER CUP HITS THE SCREENS - LEARN FROM THE BEST

Take it easy, from the comfort of your armchair as the VC Poker Cup is coming to a TV screen near you, from the 7-13 November, at 22:00, a series of 7 programmes will be aired on Sky Sports 2 across the week with the final programme going out on 13 November.

The tournament featured 100 players with a buy in stake of £5,000 each and saw some of the best poker players in the world at the VC tables including, Dave "The Devilfish" Ulliot, and former World Champion Noel Furlong plus celebrity player Teddy Sherringham and Michael Greco who are fast becoming regular faces at the poker tournaments. With 28 VC online qualifiers who also earnt a place for a shot at the quarter of a million pounds by playing on Victor Chandler's online poker site at www.vcpoker.com .

Chairman, Victor Chandler said: "VC Poker Cup was a tremendous success which has set a precedent for future tournaments, we are looking forward to our next big adventure in leading the way on the Poker circuit."

The VC Poker Cup took place in London between 1 - 5 August, offering over £480,000 in prize money. The 2004 event and quarter of a million first prize was won by Londoner Harry Demetriou who beat a world-class field containing some of poker's biggest stars. Subsequent broadcasts have been watched by millions of people in over 20 countries.
