Make yourself a cuppa, sit back and relish the arrival of both spring and issue 7 of the Big Slick, your trusty online poker magazine.
As usual, this month's issue offers a mix of the informative and the entertaining. First off, we look at the basics behind developing a sound tournament strategy, which should help improve your returns from our ever-increasing range of tournaments.
Next up for those poker self-improvers, we've got an introduction to Omaha together with a look at what constitutes a good starting hand: which is very useful stuff if you want to avoid losing your shirt.
And at breakneck speed we move fearlessly onto our research into online poker tells. It's long been assumed that the anonymity of the web makes it all but impossible to get a decent read on your opponents. But what do you – the online poker player – think? Find out here.
Last – but by no means least – we take a look at the phenomenon that is televised poker. They said it wouldn't catch on, but how wrong they were. And it should whet your appetite for the forthcoming Victor Poker Cup, our very own TV tournament.
Anyway, that's enough from us, we'll let you get on with reading this month's Big Slick.
All the best,
The Big Slick team.
